MEET MAXIMILIAN!
I, Maximilian (Max) Cordoba, am a multi-faceted singer-actor-dancer hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from the University of California, Irvine. While I have extensive experience in playing a whole range of roles in theatre, I take pride in my knack for tap dancing and experience in choral music and wind ensembles, and I love to teach!
Ever since I was a young boy I loved to sing and dance, and so even before beginning my collegiate training, I have ventured on amazing opportunities such as singing with the Bay's very own Ragazzi Boys’ Chorus in Carnegie Hall. I have Butler University to thank for my first dive into dedicated acting training and my first bit of collegiate theatre experience. While in college, I have gained leadership skills from becoming the Co-tenor Section Leader in UC Irvine’s Chamber Singers ensemble and was the Assistant Music Director for UC Irvine’s all-male acapella group Circle of Fifths.
I teach/have taught vocal pedagogy and directed at
Starlight Dance Studios in Martinez, CA
PlayCV in Castro Valley, CA
Institute of Voice in Mountain View, CA
My professional theatrical credits are from Cedar Summerstock Theatre in Osage, IA and
Berkeley Playhouse in Berkeley, CA
Please feel free to take a look at all of my theatrical roles and other skills under the Headshot + Resume tab! If you would like to see super cool production photos from just some of the shows I've been in as well as clips of me singing, click the Media tab!
Most people say that I have played most of my theatrical roles with conviction and that I am well-equipped to play zany comedic roles. I believe that from my experience I am most castable in roles that make people think and question whether the show is a period piece or a slapstick comedy.
